honestly it's kinda funny. i learned about this game through it's soundtrack. war without reaosn. it wasn't even the ost version it was a cover of it (a kibry cover of it too). it was odd. enticing.
"...like antenna to heaven". what did that mean. what was even the thing in the thumbnail. i found the actual song the cover was based off of.
soon enough i found myself searching the level's name online. immedietly i see this towering thing staring the player down.

and then the player character starts flying across the screen as they scale this giant, infiltrating it and killing it from the inside. it tickeled my brain in the right kind of way.
just like anything else i get into, i started discecting it. studying it from afar. perusing page after page on the wiki. looping the soundtrack until i felt nothing. letting my brain melt as i watched gameplay footage. i did a full autopsy of the game before even touching it.
and then i actually played it. hooked is an understatment. i needed this game. restarting levels before even finishing the so i could get a decent rank. throwing all of my limited knowledge on shooters at the screen and seeing what happens. it scratched an itch i didn't even know i had.
